Innovative teams to tip off NBA postseason

The Mavericks play host to the Jazz tomorrow in the first game of the 22 NBA playoffs. The host arena, American Airlines Center, recently added two frictionless food and beverage stands through a partnership with vendor Levy and the Mavericks’ internal innovation arm, DBK Studio. The stores are run by AI retail technology from SpotOn, reports SBJ’s Bret McCormick. The Jazz have also innovated recently in their home arena, reaching a milestone with over half of their in-venue transactions now occurring on mobile platforms. Donovan Mitchell, the Jazz’s leader on the court, recently collaborated with the NBA and NBPA to host an NBATV special geared toward educating college athletes on new NIL laws and personal branding monetization. To learn more about how teams across all major U.S. leagues are innovating, request a demo with SBJ Atlas.

The Utah Jazz and Dallas Mavericks have recently upgraded their patron experience inside their venues.
